stand in it

moving meditation day 26

know thyself

Today’s moving meditation is wobbly. Messy. An attempt at balance when life is anything but.

Life is often viewed through a dualistic lens: a tug-of-war between the humbling and glorifying experiences, steady and ecstatic, flat and expansive. Balancing poses are a steady reminder to find the in-between and stay rooted in thyself. Be like a firm redwood tree, so that when the wind blows, you withstand disaster and continue growing. Embrace, accept, and invite the falls. Get back up. Try again.
