We’ve arrived at the end of the month and with that — our final moving meditation! (Cheers to one less message in your inbox!) If you’re still here, thank you for sticking it through!
An image that comes to mind at the conclusion of this exercise is the Zen Enso. It is a circle drawn in one fluid motion, embodying the creative energy of the moment, followed by the letting go of control — a mirror to the natural cycles of life that guide the flow of existence.

A circle is drawn in one swift, expressive stroke. You can’t drag it out; at some point, the circle has to close. But as you draw it, you apply the force of your full motion. The resulting shape is a snapshot of your character in a brief, continuous period. Done repeatedly you see its development over time — a reminder that life is constant change, constant movement.
That’s what these 30 days have felt like. A self-realization that I am not a static creature, and that life is a natural ebb & flow of leaning in & letting go, nothing more. One cycle ends, another begins, over & over, until the end.
Since we’ve come full circle, I’m closing the loop with someone I started this journey with: my friend and women’s empowerment coach Lisa May Francisco. She led a group through her own challenge in October, a 40-day Sadhana (morning spiritual routine), which was part of the inspiration for me to double down on my personal movement and meditation practice.
Lisa takes us through a Kundalini exercise called the Ego Eradicator. Listen to our video for her full instruction, and take this as an invitation to surrender the ego and bring a neutral mind to whatever you’re looking to step into in this new month (and new moon!).
P.S. If you enjoy this, check out Lisa’s YouTube channel for more Kundalini yoga videos and a host of other spiritual resources. She is also offering special pay-what-you-can one-hour EFT sessions through January to release stress and step into the holidays feeling grounded. Sign up here.
Move & Meditate
Move: Sit cross-legged on the floor with your spine upright. Stretch your arms above your head in a V-shape. For breath of fire, inhale and exhale sharply from your nose like you’re panting. As you do, consciously move your navel upward and inward, toward your spine.
Meditate: Sat Nam. Truth is my name.
Message: Surrender to the natural cycles of life.
